Gracelets

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand... Deuteronomy 6:6&8.

Gracelets began for us as a way to keep a constant reminder of God's Grace during a difficult time in our personal lives.

The DREAM Diaper Bag

I have wanted one of these since I had my oldest almost 8 years ago. It took me that long to figure out how sew. And now that my youngest is nearly out of diapers I present to you...

The diaper bag with detachable purse. No more carrying two bags.
No more transferring my stuff when I drop Hannah off at the nursery. No more forgetting to put stuff back in the diaper bag when I pick her up!!! WooHoo!

Book Totes with pockets inside and out!

Headboard

I have ALWAYS wanted a headboard. But I am cheap and I am not good at saving up for something. But by golly I can make something out of an egg crate, a piece of cardboard and some material that I was supposed to use for a table skirt for my mom but procrastinated long enough that she got a new table. I like it. It needs to be mounted to the wall though.

Curtains, TuTu Cute!

Curtains for my daughters room with scraps I had and thought I'd never use. Similar to how you make those adorable little Tutu skirts!

Poodle Skirt

Just a quickie for a concert. These are super easy. Once you get on line and figure out what you are doing. And then contact your genius super talented can sew anything friend and she walks you through making a poodle! This cute little girl can make anything cute. Especially with her Oh so cool little brother at her side!

Oh La La...Ruffles

So I saw these cute little ruffled leggings on a kid one day with my mom! We thought they were super cute but figured they were also, super expensive. So I thought, "hey I can figure out how to make those"...and I did. But then I thought they needed a skirt because ruffles are really better when they are overwhelming... don't you think? Also there are matching headbands. They are a bit of a pain to make. Now I know why they would be super expensive.

This one was my favorite. I rethought the ruffled legging thing.
Apparently there is such a thing as TOO MUCH RUFFLE.
But I do love this one just the way it is!

Recovered the High Chair

Made with Scraps from Tummy Time Blankets!
and then forgot to wipe it down before taking pictures. This was only my third big sewing project ever. It is extremely flawed but looks a heck of a lot better than the one with the torn plastic cover complete with mold growing between the plastic and the material. Mmmm, sounds appatising don't you think! Per my husbands suggestion I sprayed it with scotch guard so I can go longer between washings. (always a plus in my book) Just wipe it down almost like vinyl! Will try this project again someday hopefully with prettier results! Only one child left to use it and then she's out of here! (The high chair, not the kid.)

Tummy Time Blankets - Pillow Snaps in Place

These make GREAT shower gifts. The Pillows snap into place so it doesn't wiggle its way out from under your little one. Toys detach so you can switch them out. Reversible and padded can be used as a playtime blanket too!
